HORNSEA SWIRL CANISTERS
Vintage Hornsea Pottery Tea & Coffee canisters. Lovely golden brown glaze in the Swirl pattern with wooden lid. Made in the UK in the 1960s for a very short time. The Swirl pattern was the precursor to the Heirloom pattern. But after the wild success of Heirloom, the Swirl was sadly discontinued.
Fair condition. The tea canister has two chips, one larger one on the outside and a small one underneath. The coffee canister has a visible repair around the lip, a small piece has been glued back into place. See pics. They still present nicely on a shelf.
