DREVOUNIA RATTAN BENTWOOD CHAIRS
Vintage dining chairs in the style of the Josef Hoffmann No. 811 bentwood chair. Made in Czechoslovakia by Ligna Drevounia, these are high quality chairs with hand woven rattan seats and backs, a really special set. The Hoffmann chair was originally designed in the 1920s and is an absolute classic, still just as relevant today. Sold as a set of 4.
The frames are in excellent condition, showing just light wear from use. The rattan backs are all perfect and the seats are all strong. However there are a few breakages around the edge on 3 of the seats, see pics. It doesn't affect use, the seats are still strong and supportive. Two of these have a little sag. However, this is a very lovely set.
